At Lifebridge Health Centre, we provide a wide range of services covered by the provincial Health Services plan! And also services that are not covered.

At LIFEBRIDGE, access to general medical care includes:

  • Family Medical Care with advice, assessment, and treatment for conditions such as: cuts, bruises, infections, sprains, and skin complaints
  • Physicals
  • Medicals and completion of required forms, including driver’s medicals (See the Uninsured Services Fee Schedule for further details)
  • Routine screening tests
  • Women’s health (Paps, Breast Exams, Contraception and IUD insertion)
  • Complete Medical Exam
  • WCB and SGI Injuries
  • Cortisone Injections (trigger finger, knee and hip bursitis)
  • Immigration Medical Examination
  • Procedural consults for mole excision, ingrown toe nails, and other procedures
  • Incision and drainage of small abcesses’

This years flu vaccine will be available at our clinic starting in October 2022.

Lifebridge Walk-In Clinic

Lifebridge Health Centre offers a walk-in clinic to the general public, Monday-Thursday, 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-3pm. Check for current wait times.

Pediatric Services

We have Dr. Fakhir on our team at Lifebridge Health Centre. He provides a wide range of general pediatric services including: well baby checks, and health supervision for children/adolescent’s ages 0-17. His areas of interest include: Pediatric and Adolescent Mental Health, Weight Management, Developmental Issues, Asthma and Allergies. A referral from your family doctor is required.

Endocrinologist Consultation

Dr. Nassrein Hussein an Endocrinology Specialist providing consultations, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of endocrine conditions including diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, thyroid disease, adrenal gland disorders, gonadal disease, and diseases of the pituitary gland. A referral from your family doctor is required.

Please note that due to a very long waiting list, Dr. Hussein is temporarily closing her practice to new Endocrinology referrals. She will accept new referrals once the waiting time is back to a reasonable time frame. Other Endocrinologists in Saskatoon are: Dr. G. Dala, Dr. T. Arnason, and Dr. G. Casper Bell.

Women’s Health Services

Dr. Yosra Mohsen recently joined us in February of 2020. She specializes in Women’s Health Counselling by providing pap and breast exams, menopause counselling, breast feeding consultation, contraception, and IUD insertion. She also focuses on Mental Health Counselling, which includes: guidance for emotional focus, psychodynamic, interpersonal, family therapy, and CBT Counselling for Anxiety, Depression, and Psychosis.

Immigration Services

Dr. Yosra Mohsen provides Immigration Medical Examinations for patients applying for a visitor’s visa, work permit, student visa, or to become a permanent resident. For more information regarding this examination, please call us at (306) 955-5433. (The number in the video is wrong)
